You can use the standard tiles outdoors but depending on the UV (or
direct light) it receives, it will start to fade, usually but not guaranteed 2 to
4 years before it fades. Standard can be used indefinately indoors though.

Solar Outdoor Tile has a 100 year GUARANTEE against UV and Weather.
But takes months to produce and is expensive.
